Purpose
The moratorium template should be used when an article falls under ShadowrunWiki's moratorium policy guidelines. In general, this is for a new product that has just been released and lasts for two months after release.
Usage
Cut and paste {{moratorium|the ending date of the moratorium}} into the top of the article. For example:
{{moratorium|July 2, 2037}}
Will display:
 | Moratorium As a newly-published commercial product or download, this article's subject falls under the scope of ShadowrunWiki's Moratorium policy. Please do not use information from this source until 2 July 2037. |
When the moratorium date has arrived, the template displays a different message. For example:
{{moratorium|July 2, 2009}}
Will display:
| Moratorium This article's subject previously fell under ShadowrunWiki's Moratorium policy on newly-published materials. The moratorium expired on 2 July 2009. Information from this source may now be used in articles on ShadowrunWiki. |
